Our Owners, Tim and Tom, set out to change the industry and improve on the service being offered by other satellite protect providers. This led to the set up of Satellite Repair Services Ltd in the coastal town of Bournemouth.

We became one of the first satellite breakdown providers to be regulated by the FCA. During this year our company blossomed and we opened a new call centre in Southampton. We also began to offer breakdown and accidental damage protect on televisions. In 2011 we changed our name to Home Appliance Guard Ltd.

We started protecting white goods such as: washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and fridge freezers. We also started to offer protection on brown goods to protect as much of your home as possible, and make good on our goal to keep our customers' homes running smoothly.

With the business growing we needed a brand to match our ambitious vision and one that could eventually become a household name. We needed something to reflect our energy and passion in an otherwise dull market - that's how we came to Zest.

With our continued growth as a business we needed new offices to match the vision of the company and fulfil our goal of becoming the zest place to work. With this, we completely renovated office spaces in Poole Road and Midland House in Bournemouth town centre.

We recognized the importance of making life easier for our customers. Introducing the ability to get an online quote and purchase a Zest Protect plan was key, allowing people to quickly and effortlessly cover their home appliances and technology at their convenience with a hassle-free process.
